

Starting from the Village Historic District, the Hermit Road (Red Route) shuttle bus follows the Hermit Road for 7 miles (11 km) and has spectacular views of the canyon and Colorado River. It's a good idea to arrive early (before 9:30 am) to find a parking spot and be able to make the most of your time here.


The parking lots around the Visitor Center usually fill by 12 noon.
